A good idea, bad execution

This program reminds me of one that I had years ago on my Apple Newton. I wish it worked as well as that one. There are so many problems with this application, Ill list just a few.
1. After spending a lot of time entering information for long trips, the information just disappears.
2. If one makes an date error on a flight and goes back to fix it, the program only fixes it withing "Flights" and not on the whole "Trip" creating huge date gap problems.
3. Airline names and airport names are difficult to enter, e.g. you cant just type "UA" for United, but most type "United" to get UA.
4. The whirlgig on entering dates is very erratic and hard to use, giving bad dates quite often.
5. Generally using the program is a waste of time until it is fixed.
